SIAT and KMITL Sign MoU for Strategic Cooperation

On August 25, a signing ceremony for strategic cooperation on advanced research and technological development was held online by and between Shenzhen Institutes of Advanced Technology (SIAT) of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and King Mongkut's Institute of Technology Ladkrabang (KMITL)
In the presence of representatives from both sides led respectively by LV Jiancheng, vice-president of SIAT and Prof. Chaiyan Jettanasen, vice president of KMITL, the signing ceremony for Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) ended up with a grand success.
LV firstly expressed good wishes and congratulations on KMITL’s 60th anniversary, and praised that last year's visit to KMITL impressed him deeply. He said that both sides had been collaborating in some areas, and this MoU would be a very important step forward.
Then Prof. Chaiyan Jettanasen introduced that KMITL was one of its kind that integrated science and education, and meanwhile he showed sincere wishes for further collaborate with SIAT in a wider and more frequent manner.
"With successful signing of the MOU today, we are glad that soon SIAT and KMITL will be able to reach another milestone,” Lv added. “And we look forward to generating more cooperation in the near future.”
The MOU indicates both parties will make concerted efforts in quite a few fields, including academic and scientific activities, organization of courses, conferences, seminars, symposia and lectures, development of projects, exchange of personnel, and educational cooperation on Master / Ph.D. students.
Founded in 1960, KMITL is a non-profit public higher education institution located in Bangkok. The university now consists of faculties: engineering, architecture, agricultural technology, science, industrial education, agricultural industry, information technology, and liberal arts.
