Center for Nanobiomechanics

Introduction

The Research Laboratory for Nano-Biomechanics focuses on nano-scale biomechanics, multifunctional materials, computational materials science, and Atomic Force Microscopy (AFM) around nanoscale measurement and biomechanics. The main research work includes: Using micro-nano biomechanics of interdisciplinary to study biological systems of mechanical and physical properties and disease-relationship in-depth of nano-scale, establishing of accurate analysis and diagnostic methods of early disease; Applying of Atomic Force Microscopy to develop new b  iomechanical detection methods and instruments in micro-biomechanical direction; The microstructures, local responses and macroscopic properties of the related materials were studied by scanning probe nanometer control and multi-field coupled in-situ measurement system.
