President’s International Fellowship Initiative (PIFI)

The Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS) President's International Fellowship Initiative, PIFI, is a funding program designed to establish scientific cooperation and promote research communication around the globe. It is open to all scientific research personnel worldwide. Aiming at promoting global research mobility, the PIFI covers scholars at different career stages, from Nobel laureates to young master’s students.

International Partnership Program (IPP)

The International Partnership Program of the Chinese Academy of Sciences (IPP), aims to build a research collaboration network through various forms and different levels of scientific cooperation projects, focusing on global scientific challenges and common technical problems. It aims to deepen bilateral partnerships, create global innovation nodes, and foster multilateral cooperation mechanisms. There are four sub-programs in total: Big Science, Grand Challenges, Mutual Interests, and Future Network.
