Professor Atta-ur-Rahman Visit SIAT for Future Cooperation

Atta-ur-Rahman, Foreign Academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, visited Shenzhen Institute of Advanced Technology, Chinese Academy of Sciences at 20th, March, and Director Nasser Ali Khan from Pak Austria Fachhochschule - Institute of Applied Sciences & Tech, Academic Consultant Mohammad Mujahid from Pak Austria Fachhochschule - Institute of Applied Sciences & Tech. Fan Jianping, president of SIAT, Lv Jiancheng, vice-president of SIAT and Li Guanglin, director of Institute of Advanced Integration Technology received the delegation.  

Prof. Atta-ur Rahman, listened the general introduction of SIAT and visited MRI, neutral engineering Laboratories. Both sides discussed the research cooperation, education joint supervision and talents training in the future.  

Atta-ur Rahman is a Pakistani scientist specializing in organic chemistry who served as the Chairman of the Higher Education Commission of Pakistan between October 2002 until September 2008 and the Minister for Science and Technology between March 2000 and September 2002. He currently serves as the Co-Chair of the UN Committee on Science, Technology and Innovation for UNESCAP.
